Christian Eriksen suffered an injury in Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth round victory against Reading when he was tackled by Andy Carroll. However, he showed on social media that he is already recovering.
The 31-year-old was expected to be sidelined until late April but returned to team training on Tuesday. Moreover, his coach did not rule him out for Manchester United's next Premier League game against Everton.
Erik ten Hag was asked at a press conference if Eriksen would be available for Saturday's encounter: "We will see. We see it from day to day," he replied.
"He is progressing. He is now back only this week in team training tomorrow [Thursday] and the day after tomorrow [Friday]. We have two sessions. After that, we will decide if he is back in the squad again," added the Dutchman.
