Man City slam 'hostile' FFP investigation after being referred to adjudicatory chamber

UEFA's Club Financial Control Body has referred Manchester City to the adjudicatory chamber after a probe into alleged FFP breaches.

Manchester City have slammed the UEFA Club Financial Control Body's (CFCB) investigation into alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP), describing it as a "hostile process" after being referred to the organisation's adjudicatory chamber.

City released a club statement saying "it is disappointed, but regrettably not surprised by the announcement of the referral"

City lost in the Champions League Quarter-Final against Tottenham Hotspur on away goals this season, but should UEFA find City to be guilty, they may well be banned from the next edition of the Champions League.
