Man City prospect Wright pushes for permanent Norwich switch

The 19-year-old midfielder, currently on loan at Norwich City, is eager to extend his stay in East Anglia beyond the summer.
Wright joined the Canaries during the January transfer window in search of regular first-team football — something that had eluded him under Pep Guardiola. Despite the coach's earlier reluctance to sanction a move, the youngster was determined to secure more playing time and embraced the opportunity in the Championship.
Although Swansea also showed interest, it was Norwich who secured his services for the second half of the season. Since arriving at Carrow Road, the teenager has gradually earned more minutes, featuring in four of their last six matches as the club continue their push for a play-off spot.
Despite the team's inconsistent form, Wright has been impressed with the environment and has privately indicated he would welcome a permanent switch.
With limited prospects of breaking into the Manchester City first team, a long-term future at Norwich now appears the most likely outcome for the young midfielder.
