Man City charges of alleged irregularities rise from 115 to 130

The number of charges against Manchester City for alleged financial irregularities has increased from the original 115 to 130, according to The Times.

The English club was charged with 115 irregularities in February 2023 but, according to the British newspaper, the Premier League had to make a correction and increase the charge to 130 because there was confusion over some issues relating to different seasons. This does not imply that there are additional charges, just that some terms had to be sorted out.

The Sky Blues are accused of failing to give accurate financial information between 2009 and 2018, failing to give correct details regarding payments to players and coaches in the same period, failing to comply with UEFA's financial rules between 2013 and 2018, failing to comply with the Premier League's Financial Fair Play between 2015 and 2018 and failing to cooperate with the Premier League's investigation since 2018.

The trial in the case began in September and ended on Monday, with a verdict expected in 2025.
