Man City boss Guardiola targets Newcastle gem Livramento

Kyle Walker, 34, departed the Etihad in January, joining AC Milan on loan until the end of the season. With his long-term future at City uncertain, Pep Guardiola's side is already evaluating options for the right-back position.

According to The Telegraph, City are closely monitoring Tino Livramento, who has impressed since joining Newcastle from Southampton in 2023 for £32 million. The 22-year-old has made 50 Premier League appearances for the Magpies and earned his first England cap in a 5-0 win over the Republic of Ireland last November.

Livramento is not the only defensive target on City's radar. Reports suggest the club is also considering a move for Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso. The 25-year-old Italian, who initially spent a season on loan at Bologna after joining Juventus in 2022, has since cemented his place in the Turin club's starting lineup and has accumulated 13 caps for Italy since March 2024.

With multiple areas of the squad under review, City's summer transfer window promises to be a significant one as Guardiola looks to maintain the club's dominance in both domestic and European competitions.
