AC Milan are about to confirm the signing of a new striker. It is Olivier Giroud who will lead the Milan attack. There are just the finishing touches to put to the deal.
It was Paolo Maldini himself, the sporting director of AC Milan, who confirmed the arrival of the French international, which will be made official this Thursday.
"Giroud to AC Milan? Yes, he should arrive on Thursday," Maldini told 'DAZN', in the ceremony held for the publication of the 2021-22 Serie A fixtures.
Maldini called him "a trustworthy player and the one we were looking for as we need experienced players like him. We are the youngest team in Serie A."
The sporting director also talked about Gigi Donnarumma who has recently signed for PSG: "We're sorry to lose him although we've signed a great goalkeeper. Seeing him leave is definitely bad."
