Twitter user Matt Benton promised to get the tattoo if Maguire were to score in Samara.
The defender was able to score a bullet header, and Benton went through with his word, and got the tattoo.
Benton, who is a fan of Sheffield United, where Maguire started his career tweeted:
"You beautiful b******! Once swelling has gone down more detail will come out. Got to go back next week and finish the fine detail!"
Maguire responded to him via Twitter and promised him a signed England shirt for his committment.
"Can’t believe what I’m seeing ... Great effort, DM me and I'll sort out a signed England shirt from the lads."
Maguire has been a fan favourite on social media, with a photo of him talking to girlfriend Fern Hawkins going viral earlier in the tournament.
Fans quickly began adding captions such as: "Can you ask the neighbours to put the bins out on Monday? We're not going home just yet".
England will now take on Croatia in the World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday evening.
