Tottenham Hotspur have been told by Lyon the price that they must pay to sign the highly rated French midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele.
Lyon have requested that £63m be paid for Ndombele, who was recently quoted as saying "It's true that Tottenham are a great team - a big club. They finished fourth in their league, they were finalists in the Champions League."
Lyon only bought Ndombele in the summer for £7m from SC Amiens, but it seems they are going to get significantly more than that in return.
Tottenham have not purchased a player for 18 months, but under the guidance of manager Mauricio Pochettino reached the Champions League final, with the man they last signed, Lucas Moura scoring a vital hat trick in the semi-finals to see them through.
