A top quality opponent for Spain to prepare for Euro 2020. On 26th March, Spain, led by Luis Enrique, will host 2014 World Cup winners Germany in Madrid.
'Die Mannschaft' will be the first of three opponents for Spain prior to Euro 2020. It will also be Spain's third ever fixture at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Spain and Germany will face off in Spain for the first time in more tha five years. Last time out, Toni Kroos scored the only goal of the game to give Germany victory.
The two games Spain have played at the Wanda so far have both been easy wins. A 6-1 victory over Argentina followed by a 5-0 win v Romania.
As well as being good preparation for Euro 2020, it will be Luis Enrique's first game back as Spain manager. The coach will be looking to take his country to the title next summer in the multi-nation tournament.
