The German coach, Joachim Low, has chosen Toni Kroos for the matches against Ukraine and Switzerland in the Nations League despite the player coming back from injury.
Kroos joined up with the side on Wednesday night just like Timo Werner. After the friendly with Turkey, Benjamin Henrichs, Nico Schulz, Niklas Star, Nadiem Amiri and Mahmoud Dahoud left the side.
For the match against Ukraine, Low will have Bayern players Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry while Marcel Halstenberg and Lukas Klostermann of Leizpig also join the squad.
Niklas Sule, also of Bayern, did play in the first two Nations League matches, but not in the friendly with Turkey.
The full squad list for the match with Ukraine is the following: Neuer, Leno, Trapp; Koch, Halstenberg, Ginter, Tah, Klostermann, Süle, Rüdiger, Gosens, Emre Can; Kimmich, Draxler, Kroos, Werner, Brandt, Waldschmidt, Neugaus, Hofmann, Goretzka, Gnabry and Havertz.
