Liverpool's squad have made a statement stressing they are completely against the idea of a European Super League.
"We don't like it and we don't want it to happen. This is our collective position," Jordan Henderson wrote on Twitter on behalf of the players.
"Our commitment to this football club and its supporters is absolute and unconditional. You'll Never Walk Alone," he concluded.
It comes just two hours after news broke that Chelsea and Man City were preparing to quit the European Super League. Other clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd and Arsenal are reportedly following suit and that has led to an urgent meeting of the 12 clubs taking place on Tuesday night. Part of the discussions will be about dissolving the ESL.
