Liverpool plan major summer overhaul with key departures expected

Liverpool FC manager Arne Slot is planning for a busy summer transfer window as he tries to restructure the team in preparation for the 2025–2026 campaign.
According to Florian Plettenberg, several players, including Caoimhin Kelleher, Federico Chiesa, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott and Diogo Jota, could leave Anfield in the coming months. The Reds are looking for reinforcements in a number of positions, especially in attack.
Among Slot's plans is to address Liverpool's attacking depth, with rumours of a possible move for Alexander Isak not an easy one. In the past, the club has shown a willingness to invest heavily, and this summer looks set to be no exception, so Isak may not be an option in the end.
Meanwhile, Darwin Nunez is expected to depart, with interest from Saudi Arabia reigniting ahead of the summer window. Liverpool's inactivity in recent transfer windows has drawn criticism, but Slot has assured fans that "strengthening in the summer" is a priority.
As part of this overhaul, the club wants to get ahead of some events and is also evaluating possible replacements for players such as Luis Diaz, whose contractual situation remains uncertain.
