Burnley v Man. City - as it happened
Thanks for joining me here tonight for this cracking game. See you tomorrow for more Premier League matches.
FT: Burnley 1-4 Man City. In the end, a comfortable victory for City as they were dominant throughout the match. Some terrific goals scored by City as they move up to 2nd.
3 minutes added time.
Brady latches on to a loose ball in the box and slots it past Ederson. What a game!!!
Burnley pull one back!!!!
Silva passes to Mahrez, he does a step over, takes it right and from the dee fires into the bottom corner past Pope. Easy.
Hendrick is booked for a late tackle on Silva.
City sub: Fernandinho off for Hendrick.
Angelino has a shot from just inside the box that goes across the face of goal, Jesus almost gets a touch but it goes wide.
A very old stadium here. A good old fashioned ground.
City sub: De Bruyne off for Foden.
Burnley sub: McNeil off for Brady.
City sub: Sterling off for Mahrez.
AMAZING GOAL!!! Silva has a shot that is blocked. It comes to Rodri at the edge of the box and he hits it first time and it flies into the top corner like a bullet. AMAZING!!!
88% possession from City in the last 10 mins. Incredible.
McNeil has a free-kick from about 25 yards straight at Ederson.
Burnley sub: Wood off for Barnes.
Burnley sub: Rodriguez on for Drinkwater.
De Bruyne has a shot from outside the box that flies over the bar.
This is more like the City we all know. Of course, they have a big game at the weekend against Manchester United.
Greta chance for Jesus to get his hat-trick. He beats Tarkowski for pace and tries to find the far corner from a tight angle but puts it wide.
Lovely goal from City. Bernardo crosses in for Jesus who side foots it in the top corner. 2-0!!
And we are back!!!
HT: Burnley 0-1 Man City. A dominant display so far from City and they could be more in front if it wasn't from Nick Pope. However, that doesn't mean that Burnley are out of it. The City defence have got a plateful with the physical presence of Woods up front.
2 minutes added time.
Another City counter-attack. The ball ends up again at Bernardo, he takes his shot first time and Pope makes a decent save with his feet.
City have looked very comfortable this half.
Funny story. As were in Burnley we came across 'The Royal Dyche'. It is a pub named after Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
De Bruyne has a shot from outside the box that Pope saves comfortably.
Great save from Pope. De Bruyne crosses in and from point-blank range, Pope saves Sterling's shot with his legs.
City counter-attack. Ederson quickly rolls the ball out, it eventually comes to Silva who passes to Jesus. Jesus dribbles into the box and curls the ball beautifully into the far corner from just inside the box. 1-0 City.
Burnley now starting to grow into the game.
Bernardo is booked for pulling McNeil back as he was on the attack.
De Bruyne has a shot from outside the box that is hit straight at Pope.
Burnley doing all the defending so far.
Corner is crossed in and Angelino hits a volley from outside the box that Jesus puts in with his heel. Jesus was offside though.
City really need to win this match. If they draw this match they would be 10 points behind Liverpool, and the Reds would have a game in hand.
And we're off!!!
Congrats to Danny Drinkwater who makes his 100th Premier League appearance.
How we doing, lads?
Last match between these sides was a 1-0 win for City here in April. Last time Burnley beat City was a 1-0 win in 2015.
What a treat we have on offer for you tonight. We have the 14th, 12th and 9th best players in the world starting, and the 10th best on the bench.

City make 3 changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Newcastle. Mendy, Gundogan, and Mahrez are replaced by Angelino, Rodri and Bernardo.

Burnley XI: Pope; Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Pieters; Cork, Drinkwater; Lennon, Hendrick, McNeil; Wood.
