At 34 years of age, Robert Lewandowski has scored ten goals and provided two assists for FC Barcelona in his first eight games as a 'Cule'. The Poland international has been in fine form at the Camp Nou.
Today, the Barcelona striker gave an interview to his home country's 'Kwartalnik Sportowy' and spoke about a number of controversial issues. The most striking, however, was his worst memory in the Bundesliga: "There was a player called Zambrano from Eintracht. All he wanted to do was break my legs. He wasn't even looking at the ball.
Lewandowski recalled with some sadness the experience of that moment and sent a message to the referees: "I was annoyed that the referee didn't see that. Defenders are often allowed to do more than strikers, it's not an equal fight.
Finally, the Barça striker explained the main difference between LaLiga and the Bundesliga: "In Spain, technical plays are more appreciated. In Germany, the focus is always on organisation, intensity and winning games. Here, every little technical skill or dribble is appreciated".
