Arsenal - Mohamed Elneny (Egypt)
Arsenal are one of the luckier teams as they only face losing Elneny which shouldn't come as too much of a worry for Arsene Wenger with the likes of Xhaka, Coquelin, Ramsey and Cazorla able to play in the centre of midfield.
Bournemouth - Benik Afobe (DR Congo), Max Gradel (Ivory Coast)
There are teams that will have better and worse fortune than Bournemouth during the African Cup of Nations. Afobe and Gradel have both failed to nail down regular starting places this season but are important squad players nonetheless.
Burnley - None
Sean Dyche will be delighted as none of his squad will be going to the African Cup of Nations which may help them continue their excellent start to the season.
Chelsea - John Obi Mikel (Nigeria)
The Blues have almost nothing to worry about as only John Obi Mikel will probably play in the tournament. Mikel is yet to make an appearance this season.
Crystal Palace - Bakary Sako (Mali)
Alan Pardew won't have too many sleepless nights over the African Cup of Nations as Sako is the only Eagles player who may leave. The winger has made just one appearance this season which came in the EFL Cup.
Everton - Yannick Bolasie (DR Congo), Idrissa Gueye (Senegal), Oumar Niasse (Senegal)
Everton are set to lose a couple of key players in Bolasie and Gueye. However, Koeman will only be too happy to see the back of Niasse, albeit for a month.
Hull City - Dieumerci Mbokani (DR Congo), Ahmed Elmohamady (Egypt)
While Hull may lose only two players to the tournament. Mbokani and Elmohamady remain key to Phelan's side and with an already bare squad, Hull fans will hope that the pair stay on Humberside.
Leicester City - Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), Islam Slimani (Algeria), Jeffrey Schlupp (Ghana), Daniel Amartey (Ghana)
The Foxes may be hit as hard as anybody this season as arguably their two biggest attacking threats in Mahrez and Slimani may be away for a month and they may also be without Ghanaian duo Schlupp and Amartey.
Liverpool - Sadio Mane (Senegal), Joel Matip (Cameroon)
Liverpool could lose two huge players between January and February with top scorer Mane facing up to a month away along with their near ever-present defender Matip also possibly going to play for Cameroon.
Manchester City - Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast)
Man City have almost nothing to worry about during the tournament as Yaya Toure is the only player likely to play. Pep Guardiola will just be hoping he takes his agent with him...
Manchester United - Eric Bailly (Ivory Coast)
United only face being without one player, but a fairly important one in Bailly as he may leave to play for the Ivory Coast.
Middlesbrough - Adama Traore (Mali)
Things could be worse for Boro as they only face losing one player for a month. However, the lightning fast winger has impressed in recent weeks and his pace will be hard to replace.
Southampton - Sofiane Boufal (Morocco)
While it may only be one player out of action for Southampton, it is bound to frustrate Saints fans as their record signing will have gone through a stop-start season after missing the early part of the campaign through injury.
Stoke City - Wilfried Bony (Ivory Coast), Mame Biram Diouf (Senegal), Ramadan Sobhi (Egypt)
The Potters are one of the worse effected teams as they face a month without the African trio. Star Striker Wilfried Bony is likely to be the biggest miss.
Sunderland - Didier Ndong (Gabon), Lamine Kone (Ivory Coast), Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia), Papy Djilobodji (Senegal)
Sunderland may be without their record signing and their two main central defenders during the African Cup of Nations. The less said the better for David Moyes' side.
Swansea City - None
Swansea will not lose any players to the African Cup of Nations which could play a huge part in their fight to avoid relegation.
Tottenham Hotspur - None
Pochettino will be delighted as none of his players will be going to the tournament, especially with a talented but small squad.
Watford - Nordin Amrabat (Morocco), Adlene Guedioura (Algeria), Buce Dja Djedje (Ivory Coast)
Amrabat will be the biggest miss for the Hornets as the Moroccan has played in almost every game this season. Guedioura has been used sparingly while Dja Djedje is yet to play this season.
West Brom - Allan Nyom (Cameroon)
West Brom are reasonably lucky just to have one player possibly missing, but Nyom has enjoyed a solid start to life at the Hawthorns and may be missed.
West Ham - Diafra Sakho (Senegal), Cheikhou Kouyate (Senegal), Sofiane Feghouli (Algeria), Andre Ayew (Ghana)
West Ham are set to be one of the most affected teams and will struggle to fill the holes left by Kouyate and record signing Ayew, especially.
