As set out by Miguelito Diaz in 'Tiempo de Juego', Toni Kroos will stay at Valdebebas to recover from his injury instead of helping Joachim Low and the German national team in their next couple of Euro 2020 qualifing games.
The journalist stated that the medical tests carried out on the midfielder have confirmed that he cannot play for Germany, after having to leave the pitch early against Granada in the first half of the game.
It had hardly even got to the half hour mark in the game against Granada, when Toni Kroos started to feel pain in his abductor muscle, in the thigh. A situation that meant alarm started ringing for Zinedine Zidane and Santiago Bernabeu as Luka Modric urgently started to warm up.
Minutes later, the German midfielder asked to be subbed off and the Croatian took his place on the pitch. Although there is still no official medical statement from the club, the channel 'COPE' stated on Sunday that Toni Kroos will be out and will not play with Germany due to a muscle injury.
