Kante close to joining Al Ittihad

N'Golo Kante has had a difficult campaign after seven seasons at Chelsea. He has had few opportunities at the English club. The Frenchman has only played nine competitive matches this term, seven in the Premier League and two in the Champions League.

As a result, midfielder will be looking for a new destination in the next transfer window and it seems he has already found it. Al Ittihad have reportedly made him an offer of 100 million euros per season for a two-year deal. The 32-year-old is very close to following in the footsteps of his compatriot Benzema.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi club are confident that they will close the Kante deal in the next few hours, with only the player and his inner circle needing to sign the contract to make it official.

World Cup-winning France midfielder N'Golo Kante's planned move to Al Ittihad was stalled by medical issues but the 32-year-old has already managed to pass the medical tests. The same media outlet reports that the final talks will take place on Tuesday.
