Juventus through to final in Cardiff

Monaco put Juventus under pressure in the early minutes, with a couple of nervy moments from Buffon. Mbappe hit the base of the post after the Italian keeper raced off his line, but the linesman's flag was raised so it wouldn't have counted.
The home side eventually managed to shake off the pressure, before Khedira limped off clutching his hamstring as he made way for Claudio Marchisio.
Having quelled the initial surge from the French side, Juventus settled on the ball as they strung together the passes to come closer to Subasic's goal. Higuain enjoyed the best chance in the first twenty-five minutes with his chip over Subasic cleared by Glik as it was heading into an open net.
The match seemed to open up a little, which would have seen Monaco as the main beneficiary. However, it was Allegri's team who kept coming at Monaco and had the best chances to go in front.
And it was just as Monaco pressed for a goal that Juve broke up the other end in devastating fashion. The ball was worked to Alves on the right flank and the Brazilian played a fantastic cross to the back post for Mandzukic. The Croatian's header was initially saved by his fellow countryman, but the striker did not miss the rebound.
Subasic had to save efforts from Higuain and Dybala to avoid his team going further behind and maintain hope in the fixture. At the other end, the heroic figure of Chiellini knocked the ball wide of the goal as Falcao was about to get on the end of a lovely low cross.
Just before half time, disaster struck for Monaco. Subasic punched away a corner kick but only as far as Dani Alves at the edge of the box. The right-back volleyed the ball first time and it dipped straight into the bottom corner.
Allegri's team read the game perfectly as they came out for the second half and did not allow Monaco to test them. The Italians looked more likely to score as they counterattacked well, while Monaco were limited to long shots that just drifted off target.
Mbappe then warned Buffon after he raced down the left of the box to attempt a finish inside the near post. The veteran keeper got a leg to the ball to deflect for a corner. Monaco took the corner kick quickly for Moutinho to be given space at the byline. The Portuguese midfielder crossed low in front of goal and Mbappe got a foot to it to find the back of the net.
The goal ended Buffon's 691 minute unbeaten run, but it only seemed as a consolation goal as the hosts got back on the ball to pile the pressure on Subasic.
The match was not exempt of controversy, with Glik in the spotlight. Higuain went down after a challenge with the defender, who appeared to stamp on the striker's knee. Higuain tearfully limped off only to return to the pitch an angry man.
The Juventus Stadium upped the temperature as they cheered on their team, as well as plenty of whistles aimed at the Polish defender, who was involved in another tussle with Mandzukic.
Yet another solid performance from Juventus which allows them to cruise into the final in Cardiff. They will have to wait and see if they face Real Madrid, or if Atletico Madrid can complete a miracle.
