The problems continue for Juventus. This Wednesday, the Turin club reported that Weston McKennie has tested positive for COVID-19 and the squad has been quarantined.
However, the club clarifies that the players will be able to resume their activity within the quarantine as and when they test negative in the next PCR tests that are carried out to control the spread of the virus in the team.
"This process will allow all the players who test negative in the tests to continue training normally and play matches, but will not allow any type of contact with those outside of the group," the club explains in its press release.
"The club is in constant contact with the health authorities," concludes the Juventus statement, after a new blow to Serie A, which has seen cases of coronavirus grow in recent weeks.
The statement also came while Cristiano Ronaldo traveled to Turin in a private medical plane to spend a quarantine of ten days there, and not 14 as required by Portuguese regulations.
