"I think Bruno Fernandes is spectacular and could play not only at Real Madrid, but for any club in Europe," Jese responded, when 'Record' asked him about the possibility of the Sporting captain ends up signing for Real Madrid.
That said, Jese clarified his words: "He's a Sporting player, I think he's happy here. He's commtted, he wants us to win every match and for Sporting to do something big," he added on the issue.
It was not the only topic he was asked about. Jese scored his first Sporting goal against Vitoria Guimaraes. "Firstly, I'm happy about the goal I've scored, but even happier about my team's victory, since we are facing a strong opponent who also have a good team which also plays the Europa League," he explained.
He assured that Sporting will fight for the title and revealed what his coach demands of him. "Silas asks me to work as hard as I can without the ball and do what I know I can with it.," Jese revealed.
"I'm only thinking about working and giving my best for Sporting, for my teammates and for myself. Looks of things change in football and you never know what will happen at the end of the season. We must keep on working," the ex-Real Madrid footballer concluded.
