Brahim Diaz is now an AC Milan player. The footballer, on loan from Real Madrid, will wear the number 21 shirt which Zlatan Ibrahimovic was wearing last season.
"Having his shirt number is an honour. There's a lot of pressure and I like that. Ibrahimovic is a Milan legend. This year I'll wear it with passion and especially with good football," an excited Diaz said.
The footballer has come under the premise he will get game time and be able to show all his skills. "I think I'm a talented player, I hope they (the fans) can enjoy my football," he continued.
"My first impressions are very good because you can tell how important Milan is in Italy and especially in the city. It's a privilege to be at this great club with an incredible history. You see how fans are fond of the team and for me it's an honour to be here at this great club."
The player will be reunited with Theo Hernandez: "I haven't had the opportunity to talk to him, but probably as soon as training starts I'm sure he'll treat me well. He has been at Real Madrid, he knows what it's like being there. I think adapting will be easy because the group seems incredible," he said.
Brahim preferred not to give his opinion when it came to choosing a player in particular, but he had kind words for Zidane: "He's treated me very well and he has said very good things about Italy, Serie A and the city to me. He likes it," Diaz concluded.
