Kroos is a regular fixture in midfield for Zinedine Zidane and the Germany international is one of the compasses of 'Los Blancos' game. His role will be essential for Real in the final on Saturday, as they seek out a third successive Champions League title.
He said: ''It is very special but very difficult to play in a final, to play two in a row is very hard but three is crazy. This has not happened before and I don't know if it will happen again but we will be looking for our third.''
The 28-year-old also noted that Real Madrid would adjust their preparations slightly ahead of Saturday's match: ''We will change the routine just a little, we are focusing more on Liverpool, but we are very motivated heading into the weekend.''
Kroos touched on the challenge facing them as they come up against Liverpool: ''We will be better with the ball but they will play flat out for 90 minutes, they will give 100 per cent and more. I hope to meet an aggressive Liverpool, they have a very fast squad but we are going to stop them.''
He added: ''For Liverpool it is an opportunity to play in the Champions League final, something they had not managed in over ten years I think. They didn't expect to be here and that is why they will give their all. Being the favourite counts for nothing.''
