Is Mendy on his way to Chelsea? Mistake in club website triggered rumours

Chelsea are back under the spotlight. While they wait to play the finals of both the Champions League and the FA Cup, the club seized the opportunity to present what will be their home kit for next season. Although, it will be worn for the first time in the aforementioned finals.
During the launch, the club prepared the option to buy the shirt online on their website. But supporters soon realised an error that increased the rumours about Benjamin Mendy potentially signing for the 'Blues'.
The name of the City defender appeared in the list of players available to personalise the shirts, as if he was part of the squad. And it wasn't a confusion with the goalkeeper Edouard, as his name could be seen just above. After a few minutes, the option disappeared.
The French full-back has been linked with Chelsea for some time. This season, he has only made 19 appearances for City in all competitions. Injuries have plagued his time since he arrived at the Etihad and this could form a part of Guardiola's considerations in his plans for next season's squad.
