Inter to negotiate Lukaku's continuity after Belgium WC exit

Romelu Lukaku is already focusing on the Serie A after being eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar 2022. The 29-year-old striker's future is the headline on Saturday's front page of 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' after Belgium were eliminated in the group stage of the World Cup. 

The aforementioned and well-known Italian media claims that Inter Milan are already in negotiations to renew his contract at the end of the current season. The Belgian international is on loan from Chelsea to the Serie A side. 

According to the aforementioned media, the English side are not interested in bringing back their player for the time being, while Inter want to keep him for another season, so Milan will try to reach an agreement with the Blues to renew his loan deal. 

As a result, there is already talk of a second season on loan for Lukaku at Inter, who are keen to secure his continuity even before the end of the current season, despite the fact that in the first part of the current campaign he was barely able to show his potential due to injuries.
