Inter's tempting offer to stop Lautaro from joining Barca

The Lautaro Martinez saga does not seem to be ending. Barca are still keeping a very close eye on what happens to the Argentinian goalscorer, who has kept on being linked with the Catalans. 

The latest we knew about the Inter Milan striker was given by 'Sport', who said that the agents of the sought after striker would meet with the Italian outfit to look for a move to Barca. 

The La Liga side have not thrown in the towel for the 23 year-old, even more so now there is constant talk of Luis Suarez leaving the Camp Nou to sign for Juventus. There he would play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. 

Barca want to build a quality front line with Leo Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Lautaro Martinez. If Lautaro signed for Barca, he would be delighted given that his compatriot has agreed to stay at Barcelona for another season. 

But Inter Milan are still not finished. According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the Italians plan is to prevent their player leaving by offering a fantastic new deal. 

A new contract which would last until summer 2025 which would see him get six million euros a year. That is what Inter will offer Martinez to prevent him leaving.
