Inter want Emerson and Giroud. The interest, especially in the former, was no secret, but there had been no information about an offer until now. 'Tuttosport' affirm that there has now been an offer from Inter to sign both of them: 30 million euros.
The market value of the Italian is 16.4 million euros; the Frenchman 6.6. The price put on the table, therefore, isn't so inconsiderable as it could seem initially, as it conforms to the current transfer window, diminished by the coronavirus crisis.
Attention is drawn to the striker's situation. Inter could have signed him easier if he hadn't renewed his contract for a year. His deal finished on 30th June 2020, and if he hadn't extended it, he could have travelled to Italy on a free.
Emerson, in fact, already has experience of the Serie A. He played for just less than three seasons at Roma, so he wouldn't need time to adapt. Now the ball is in Chelsea's court, who will have to decide whether to seel, to reject or negotiate the terms.
