Leicester City are expecting their forward Kelechi Iheanacho to be available for their fixture against Brighton on Saturday, despite the fact that the Nigerian has a broken hand.
The 21-year-old picked up the injury whilst on international duty with Nigeria, and he was not listed on the selection for the match against Serbia. Nigeria were defeated 2-0 in Barnet on Tuesday.
Iheanacho is due to be examined by Leicester's medical team before resuming training on Thursday, although according to reports he has fractured the first metacarpal in his right hand.
The forward transferred from Manchester City on a five-year contract in August of last year, making 15 appearances in the Premier League.
