Former England coach Sam Allardyce believes Pochettino should not start Harry Kane in the important Champions League final against Liverpool as he has spent too much time out.
The Tottenham star is rushing through his recovery to try to be back for the big day, a European final in which Pochettino's Tottenham will seek to beat Klopp's Liverpool.
The England captain was injured in the first leg of the Champions League against Manchester City on 9th April. Since then, he has not played.
"I wouldn't start Kane after missing so many games. With so many games out, he would be better as a substitute for me. It would be a big disappointment for Harry Kane, but if it's the best thing for the team, it's best for the team," said Allardyce.
