"I was criticised, it wasn't easy; I was looking forward to an evening like this"

Following the end of the Nantes-Juventus match, the Argentine Di Maria spoke to 'Sky Sport' after the wonderful match he played in Nantes to get them through to the next round.

"I am very happy that we managed to put the team's work into practice. We wanted to go through, the Europa League is very important for us. I've been waiting a long time for an evening like this with Juve, I managed to raise the bar. Finally, he spoke about the game his team played and added a final quote. "This result means a lot for the season. He's had an incredible career here, now I'm trying to do the best I can. I met him: it was very nice," he concluded.
