Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is having a good season so far. The 24-year-old has been called up by England coach Gareth Southgate and is making an impact in Mikel Arteta's squad, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 11 appearances.
The English forward could have left the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window but decided to stay in London despite receiving several offers from top clubs and knowing he would not play a prominent role at Arsenal.
Nketiah gave an interview to 'FourFourTwo' to talk about his decision and express his love for his current club. "It was just my love for the club. London’s home, the club is home, but I’ve been an Arsenal fan all my life and that played a big part," he said.
"Talking to the manager and the plans he had for me, and the fact he needed me… I knew I wanted to learn, develop and help this club," he added.
