How Inter intends to keep Icardi away from Italy

Icardi will remain at PSG. Both clubs would have agreed that the Argentinean will continue in the attack at the Parc des Princes.
The player, initially brought in on loan had a purchase option for 70 million euros. In the end, that figure would have been reduced to 50 million, according to the source cited above.
In the agreement that both parties have sealed, Inter have kept an ace up their sleeve. They do not want Icardi to strengthen any direct rival. Neither now nor in the future.
For this reason, Inter would have included a clause in the negotiation contract signed by both parties whereby PSG undertakes to pay 15 million euros to Inter if, in the future, Icardi departs to a Serie A club.
Icardi wanted to stay with PSG, the French club didn't think about it when it was time to tie him up and Inter were delighted to open the doors to the Argentinian. The agreement has now been sealed and all that remains is for both clubs to make it official.
