As the summer transfer window is now closed, transfer talk is now with regards to January. Legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger spoke about Erling Haaland's future.
It was not just the Norwegian who was mentioned by the Frenchman in the interview with 'Bild'. He also talked about Arsenal's situation and Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Man Utd.
"I think Haaland will come to England. The financial power of the Premier League is too strong," the former manager said about the Dortmund player, who he described as a "super talent".
On a possible return to the North London club, which have failed to get off the mark in their first three games in the league, Wenger was clear: "Today, the club is in good shape. The team have potential. For the moment I'm just a fan."
The Frenchman said that Cristiano Ronaldo's decision to return "is not 100% rational" and he admitted that he was close to signing him before the Red Devils got him the first time: "We could only pay four million euros. Back then, Man Utd were paying 12."
