Adeyemi will make the step up in his sporting career to take up a very complicated challenge. It is none other than filling Erling Haaland's boots. That is difficult given the amount of goals he would need to score.
Dortmund will go for the RB Leipzig player and it is basically certain he will join the Bundesliga club if Erling Haaland's departure is confirmed. However, the Norwegian has yet to decide on his future.
'The Athletic' reports that there is an agreement between Dortmund, Haaland and Man City so it will be a domino effect. Fabrizio Romano also said that an agreement between Salzburg and Dortmund has been reached.
"Borussia Dortmund are preparing paperwork and contract to be signed for Karim Adeyemi after verbal agreement reached months ago," the journalist wrote.
On the price, Adeyemi would cost Dortmund 38 million euros and there would not be a buyout clause in his contract so the German club would make a profit. Haaland's price is 75 million so they would make 37 million euros.
