Guardiola wants Kroos and Suarez at Man City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping to make a sensational double swoop in for Real Madrid's Toni Kross and Barcelona's Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Mirror.
Guardiola and City are looking to make a marquee signing of their own, after city rivals Manchester United signed both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this past week.
Toni Kross is reportedly keen for a reunion with Guardiola, with whom he worked with at Bayern Munich. However, the Germany international still has four years remaining on his contract in the Spanish capital, meaning that City would have to activate his £63 million release clause.
The stated source claim that Suarez is also interested in the prospect of working with Guardiola, however the difficulty here could be his family, who are reportedly unkeen on leaving Catalunia. The former Liverpool player would also cost the Citizens a staggering £85m, whilst Barcelona would likely do all they could to stop the La Liga Golden Boot winner from leaving the Camp Nou.
Even if Guardiola could pull off the signing of just one of these players, it would be a huge success.
