Guardiola urges Alvarez to make a decision on his City future

The future of Julian Alvarez is a real question mark. Pep Guardiola spoke about the Argentinian forward in a press conference ahead of Manchester City's clash with Barcelona.
"I know he wants to play in important moments, but the other players [want that] too. We have 18 or 19 players who want to play in the important games. I read he has to think about it, so OK, think about it and after that he will inform us what he wants to do," he told reporters.
The striker has a contract with Manchester City until 30 June 2028. The formula of a loan with option to buy could be a possibility with which to place Alvarez away from England.
Rumours in the market place the 24-year-old at La Liga side Atletico Madrid. Diego Pablo Simeone lost Alvaro Morata and Artem Dovbyk is likely to join Roma.
