There has already been plenty of action as Mario Mandzukic scored the first own goal in a World Cup final to hand France the lead, before Ivan Perisic hammered his side level from the edge of the box.
With 34 minutes gone, Antoine Griezmann's corner from the right was deflected behind by Perisic after both Blaise Matuidi and Marcelo Brozovic failed to make contact with it at the near post.

The referee, Nestor Pitana, pointed for another corner, but was immediately surrounded by France players appealing for handball.
After what felt like an age, the Argentine eventually decided to review his decision on the pitch-side monitors and saw enough to point to the spot.
In total, four minutes passed between the incident taking place and Griezmann taking the spot-kick, but he kept his cool to send Danijel Subasic the wrong way to put France 2-1 up with their first shot of the game.
