Germany have plenty of good players says Thomas Muller

German international Thomas Muller was left out of the Confederations Cup, along with regular captain and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil and Mats Hummels.

However, Bayern Munich's Muller was impressed by the amount of talented football players coming through the ranks for Germany. 

He told 'L'Equipe': "I really enjoyed watching them play. They're all good players. They travelled to Russia and came together to form a team. That shows that we have a reservoir of incredible players."

The German squad faced South American champions Chile in the Confederations Cup final, and won 1-0 thanks to Lars Stindl's goal.

In addition, the U21 German squad won the U21 European Championship against favourites Spain, Mitchell Weiser scoring the decisive goal.
