A host of legendary players turned out to bid farewell to Andrea Pirlo, a former Italian World Cup winner, and for many it seemed as though nothing had changed much at all.
Pirlo was joined by the likes of Frank Lampard, Francesco Totti, Carlos Tevez and Gianluigi Buffon in a testimonial match, after announcing his retirement from MLS club New York City and professional football.
However, for infamously unruly midfielder Gattuso, it was a case of seeing red. The AC Milan manager managed only 90 seconds on the field before slapping ex-Inter striker Nicola Ventola and bringing him down on the edge of the box.
