"I have a contract and I will stay at least one more year, although it could be more," said Fernando Torres after the final match of the season in Japan.
The 34-year-old is happy with what he has found in his new team. "When I decided to leave Atlético I was looking for a new challenge and I found this new challenge at Sagan Tosu," he continued.
Torres believes that, starting next year, it will be even better. "I have more experience than before and I think I'm a more complete player than before coming to Japan," he said.
'El Niño' has found a place where he is happy. "I'm very happy with the club and the country. I knew it was a very difficult challenge to help the team stay in the first division. Now I can say the goal has been achieved," he said.
The Spaniard has already set a goal for next season. "I want to help the club be important in Japan", he concluded.
