Everton:
Interestingly, the Toffees are the only Premier League side Guardiola is yet to beat and will be aiming for a repeat of last season when they ran rampant and hammered City 4-0. The likelyhood of lightning striking twice is minimal, but the Premier League is an unpredictable beast.
Gylfi Sigurdsson (knee), Eliaquim Mangala (knee), James McCarthy (leg), Mason Holgate (ankle) and Maarten Stekelenburg (groin) are all sidelined.
Manchsester City:
Three points here are crucial. You might be asking: 'Why? They're already 16 points ahead...' Well, should City claim all the points at Goodison Park, they'll be offered the once-in-a-lifetime chance to lift the trophy at home to rivals United. The thought alone of Jose Mourinho's face will be enough motivation to drive Pep towards victory here.
Benjamin Mendy is still recovering from a knee injury. John Stones (concussion) and Sergio Aguero (knee) are not yet match fit.
Everton manager Sam Allardyce:
"We've got to master our game plan throughout the 90 minutes to get a result against the team that's riding high."
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola:
When asked about the distraction of City's upcoming Champions League tie with Liverpool, Pep resoundingly stated: "Believe me, I am preparing for Everton like it's the most important game we have to play."
