This dominant attitude that Barca and Madrid have had in recent years seems to be losing force. They have both lost power in the European scheme and little by little, it seems that other teams are emerging to take their place. Beyond the Champions League, only two teams have managed to maintain and unbeaten run in the five big leagues (Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and La Liga).
Liverpool are already known as the Champions of Europe due to winning the Champions League the year before, already shown by the level of Jurgen Klopp's team. Based on a vertical style in attack and a suffocating pressure in defence, the Anfield team continue to be leaders in the first third of the season.
The Brits lead the Premier League with an astonishing superiority. 10 wins and one draw in the 11 games that they have played up until now in the regular tournament. They have still not lost and have only conceded nine goals.
They are six-points clear of second placed Manchester City. The 'Reds' have started the season really well and, after a fierce battle with City last year, this time they want to make sure that they lift the trophy in May.
Now with Mauricio Sarri in charge, Juventus have found the same form - at least in regards to results - as they had with Allegri. Only Inter have managed to keep up with the team, as they are only one point behind Juventus.
But just like Liverpool, Juventus still have not lost. Nine wins and two draws in eleven games. In fact, they broke the undefeated status that Inter also had weeks ago. Although Cristiano, their main figure, has not yet reached his peak, they have shown that they can be an extremely competitive team.
