FT: England 1-0 Austria!!! All over in Middlesbrough and a 56th minute goal for Bukayo Saka proved to be the difference. England were the better team for most of it without peppering Bachmann's goal, but Austria picked up in the last 20 minutes. Sabitzer was very sharp and Schopf very nearly scored right at the end. The win came at a cost though as TAA went off injured after pulling a muscle in the closing stages.

Austria counter, Sabitzer's pass finds Gregoritsch who heads wide!!! And that's that!!

Off the line by White!!! A chipped ball into the box is batted away by Pickford, the ball goes to Schopf whose effort is cleared by White!!

It looks this will end 1-0. England have been better, but not had many clear chances to be fair. Austria have picked up and a draw would possibly be fair.

TAA is walking off the pitch after pulling a muscle in his left leg.

TAA is carded in bizarre circumstances. He seemed to wave him back on the pitch, TAA back on, but sees yellow as he apparently did not have permission!

Hinteregger is given a yellow after mouthing off at the ref after a foul is called.

Austria double sub: Lainer and Schlager off, Trimmel and Baumgartlinger on.

Schlager is limping, but play continues.

England attack again, but nothing comes of it.

England quadruple sub: Mings, Rice and Lingard are replaced by JWP, DCL Watkins and Godfrey.

Saka makes it 1-0!!!! Bellingham dispossesses Austria, Kane goes forward, Lingard finds Grealish and even though an Austrian player stops Grealish scoring, Saka picks up the loose ball to score!

Lainer catches Saka late and is deservedly carded.

HT: England 0-0 Austria!!! Half-time at the Riverside in a rather quiet first 45. England have been the better team here and could have scored through TAA early on and then Kane, but Bachmann has had little else to do. England had the ball in the net, but Mings had clearly made a foul in the build up. Austria have done little in attack with Baumgartner and Kalajdzic having half-chances. 0-0 is fair. Back soon!

Bachmann does some dribbling on the ball and nearly gets dispossessed by Kane.

Kane!!! Saka wins the ball, he gives it to Grealish who finds an offside Kane and his shot is saved by the keeper from close range!!! The GK picks up a knock from Kane, but he's ok now.

TAA's free-kick hits the wall and then Kane's cross is punched away by the keeper!
