"I want to to give my one hundred percent to give the followers of Atalanta the satisfaction they deserve. They are the first to encourage us and they manage to put us in the best conditions and mindset to always give our best", said Duván Zapata, in an interview granted to 'TuttoSport'.
Questioned about his future, the Colombian was clear. "I'm not leaving Bergamo at all. In football, as in life, you never know what the future holds, but now I only think about enjoying Atalanta to the fullest," he said.
"I am happy here and that's all that matters," added the Colombian striker, leaving all doors for his future currently closed off.
He was also questioned about his relationship with his coach, Gian Piero Gasperini. "A great person with whom it's a pleasure to work, even if he makes you fight for it a lot," he said.
"He's a special coach, but also a special person. Quiet, sincere and direct. If he has to tell you something, even if it's hard, he does it directly. And this helps to have an excellent relationship, "added Zapata, to finish.
