Double negative from Wu Lei in coronavirus test

Espanyol midfielder Wu Lei has given 2 negatives in the tests he underwent on 28th April and 7th May, to check if he still had the coronavirus.

The player, who transmitted this information through social media, has developed antibodies so he is now fully recovered. Wu Lei was one of the 8 Espanyol players infected with the virus in March.

Wu Lei, like the rest of his teammates, will return to training on Monday morning.

The squad will train in turns to comply with the strict health protocols.
