The economic crisis is starting to have very visible consequences in French football. After knowing that PSG's main sponsor would refuse to pay the 2nd annual installment if football doesn't return before July, Bordeaux's unilaterally decided to freeze theirs while there is no football.
The famous restaurant chain Bistro Régent confirmed that they now can't pay the quantity agreed with the French outfit: "We'll see what happens at the end of the season, but right now, we can't pay if our advertising isn't at the football games.".
Between Bordeaux and the business, there is a four-year deal and it had become an essential agreement, as it accounted for 30% of the club's income, which continue to move through the competition with a significant deficit in their accounts.
