De Jong withdraws from Netherlands squad due to injury

Frenkie de Jong has withdrawn from the Netherlands national team training camp due to a minor injury sustained in the match against Poland.
The Barcelona midfielder was substituted in the 82nd minute after experiencing tension in his glute muscle. Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman explained, "Frenkie told us he felt a tension in the glute, so we didn't take any risks."
As a result, de Jong is not considered fit enough to participate in the crucial World Cup qualifying fixture against Lithuania. De Jong's absence represents a significant loss for the Dutch side as they aim to secure qualification for the World Cup.
Barcelona will also monitor the midfielder’s recovery closely, given the importance of his presence for both club and country.
