CR7's worst goalscoring stats in the last decade

Allegri has now confirmed that Cristiano is not in the squad for the game against Sampdoria. He thinks he must rest him thinking ahead to Portugal, who face Switzerland in the Nations League semi-final on 5th June.
Cristiano has been one of Juve's main men and now Allegri wants to rest him. That means we now know the Portuguese star's 2018-19 stats.
In total, he has played 43 matches this season, 41 of them as a starter. He has scored 28 goals and given 10 assists.
Those numbers are nowhere near as good as previous seasons. And to find a season similar to this one, we have to go back to his time at Manchester United. In the 2008-09 campaign, CR7 scored 26 goals, two less than this term.
It was precisely after that season when he decided to go to Real Madrid and his goalscoring stats kept on increasing. He scored 33 goals in his first season in Madrid, 53 in the second followed by 60, 55 and 55 in the following three campaigns. He had his best ever year in 14-15 with 61 goals and 22 assists.
After that, his stats were significantly poorer. He netted 51 times and 42 in the next two years and his ninth and final year saw him score on 44 occasions.
Stats do not lie: It has not been an easy season for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese has noted the change from La Liga to Serie A and he has work to do ahead of next season.
