Chelsea have turned their eyes away from Real Madrid bound forward, Luka Jovic and have now begun targeting Ajax star David Neres.
Should the Chelsea transfer ban be overturned by CAS, then they may be looking to the young Dutch winger.
Chelsea have been looking towards Luka Jovic for some time, but now with the Serbian seemingly set to join Real Madrid, Chelsea have turned their eyes away from the Frankfurt forward.
Neres has PSG, Liverpool and Arsenal also tracking him, after a superb season in the Eredevisie, as well as the Champions League, where he was a big part of the Ajax side that were tantalisingly close to reaching the Champions League Final.
Chelsea have a good relationship with Neres' agents Giuliano Bertolucci and Kia Joorabchian who also represent Chelsea central defender David Luiz.
It would appear that Gonzalo Higuain will not be extending his stay at Chelsea, with the London club unlikely to keep him should they sign another forward.
Chelsea are also expected to trigger a one year extension for Olivier Giroud, whilst Christian Pulisic will join the club in June.
There are also a whole host of loan players who will rejoin the London club in the summer, with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Reece James all looking for first team minutes.
