Armando Broja, a 19 year-old Albanian striker, is now a Southampton footballer. The club announced it on their official channels this Tuesday. He arrives from Chelsea on loan after shining last year at Vitesse, where he was also on loan.
In the Netherlands, the striker plaayed 34 matches, starting 24 of them. He had a good season there as he scored 11 goals and gave three assists. He played 2176 minutes and he is now looking for opportunities in the Premier League to shine.
The attacker has got six caps at senior level for his country. "I feel very happy. I was very excited to join Southampton and it's a very good opportunity. They've got a good history and they play in the best league in the world," the footballer said in the official statement.
"He is a strong, quick player with a good instinct and this makes him a good fit for the way we like to play;" manager Ralph Hasenhuttl said.
