Yannick Carrasco has made it clear he is in talks with Arsenal over a potential move this summer, as Arsenal once again look to sign the Belgian.
Carrasco, 25, has been playing for Chinese side Dalian Yifang, and has been a long term target of both Arsenal and Unai Emery, with a move for the Belgian on the cards in January before Arsenal opted for Denis Suarez instead.
'Negotiations are going well,' Carrasco began in an interview with Spanish newspaper, Sport. He went on to say: 'I am aware that I am an important player for the team but I hope they let me leave. From a personal and family point of view, I would like to return to Europe.'
Carrasco only left for China 18 months ago, leaving Atletico Madrid for the Chinese Super league, but he has not had the easiest time for Yifang and is now looking for a move to the Premier League, with him even saying 'The Premier League is more physical, but there are also a lot of spaces to run into.'
Arsenal are looking to add to their squad after a mixed season saw them ultimately fail to reach the Champions League spots once again, and they were well beaten in the Europa League final against rivals Chelsea.
